Noah Linden (Bristol Mathematics) has made major contributions to non-locality, entanglement theory, verification of quantum computation and the foundations of quantum computing. He has 33 papers cited over 100 times, 6 over 500 times and 2 over 1000 times. His experience of academic leadership includes acting as Director of the Bristol Institute for Quantum Information, encompassing all QI theory, experiment and innovation activity in Bristol, Head of the Bristol School of Mathematics, and previously Deputy Director of the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Cambridge. He is chair of the Steering Committee of the current £4.9M EPSRC CDT in Bristol and was previously PI for the Fundamental Theory component of the EPSRC IRC in Quantum Information Processing. He is a member of the management team of the £24m EPSRC Quantum Computing and Simulation Hub.
